Oko 250 studenata s područja Brčko distrikta ostvarilo je pravo na stipendiju na upravo okončanom javnom pozivu kojim se omogućuje stipendiranje za prvi i drugi ciklus studija, potvrdio je šef Pododjeljenja za visoko obrazovanje u Vladi Brčko distrikta Aleksandar Maksimović.

"Novost u dodjeljivanju stipendija jeste ta da smo ove godine imali neograničen broj studenata kada su u pitanju socijalne kategorije, odnosno djeca bez oba roditelja, pripadnici nacionalnih manjina i osobe s poteškoćama u razvoju. Također, povećali smo i broj stipendija za učenike generacije, odnosno učenike koji su u srednjoj školi imali prosjek 5.0, te će ove godine biti 35 takvih stipendija", dodao je Maksimović.

Pored stipendija, studenti koji ispunjavaju određene uslove mogu se prijaviti i u svojim studentskim domovima u kojima borave širom Bosne i Hercegovine, te ukoliko ispunjavaju uslove doma mogu ostvariti sufinanciranje svog boravka tamo.

Stipendije će se isplaćivati dva puta godišnje i to prvi put za sedam mjeseci ove godine i drugi put za tri mjeseca iz prethodne godine, pod uvjetom da su upisali narednu akademsku godinu.

Za sve studente koji dobijaju stipendije iz Budžeta Distrikta izdvaja se oko 1.300.000 KM godišnje.
