Izdavačka kuća Buybook će za Osmi međunarodni festival književnosti «Bookstan. No East. No West», koji se ove godine održava u periodu od 5. do 8. jula/srpnja, dodijeliti 20 stipendija za učešće u radionici književne kritike. Tema ovogodišnje radionice je Savremena književna i kulturna kritika: «Opasno čitanje», a vrijeme održavanja je od 2. do 8. jula/srpnja 2023. godine, stoji u saopćenju objavljenom na zvaničnoj web stranici Izdavačke kuće Buybook.
 
Aplikacije je do 29. maja/svibnja potrebno poslati na e-mail adresu radionica@buybook.ba i trebaju sadržavati prijavnicu, biografiju i dva autorska rada iz oblasti književne kritike, esejistike, znanstvene publicistike, a u obzir dolaze i stručni i naučni radovi, te književne i/ili novinarske kolumne.
 
Nakon pregledanih aplikacija, ubrzo nakon posljednjeg roka za prijavu, odabrani kandidati će eventualno biti pozvani na online intervju s koordinatorima radionica nakon kojih će se obaviti finalna selekcija. Stipendija je namijenjena studentima/cama i književno-umjetničkim kritičarima/kama koji/e aktivno govore engleski jezik, pišu na bosanskom, crnogorskom, hrvatskom ili srpskom jeziku te imaju od 21 do 30 godina. Učesnici/e koji su sudjelovali na prethodnim radionicama imaju ponovno pravo prijave.
 
Zadaci za kandidate koji prođu selekciju bit će podijeljeni u tri segmenta. 
 
Prva faza je pisanje teksta koji se treba dostaviti do 23. juna/lipnja, a zadatak će biti naveden u pozivnom pismu. 
 
Druga faza podrazumijevat će zadatke koji se tiču praćenja događaja Festivala; navedeni tekstovi bit će objavljeni na društvenim mrežama i web-stranicama Buybooka i Bookstana te odabrani na stranicama medijskih partnera. 
 
Treća faza je pohađanje predavanja i radionica sa uglednim predavačima u vrijeme trajanja programa.
 
Voditeljica ovogodišnje radionice je dr.sc. Selma Raljević, dvostruka vanredna profesorica iz Teorije i historije književnosti i Komparativne književnosti na Odsjeku za engleski jezik i književnost Fakulteta humanističkih nauka Univerziteta „Džemal Bijedić" u Mostaru. Pored Selme Raljević, odabrani polaznici/e će imati priliku slušati i druge predavače/ice i goste/gošće festivala.
 
Stipendija pokriva troškove radionice, smještaja u hostelu, hranu u dogovorenim restoranima te troškove puta. Potrebno je da svi zainteresirani da pročitaju pravilnik učešća koji se nalazi u dokumentu s prijavnim obrascem.
 
Stručni žiri će odabrati dvadeset polaznika/ica programa kojima će po realizaciji zadatka biti dodijeljena priznanja, a najboljima i nagrade. 
 
Nepotpune prijave neće biti razmatrane. Zvanične potvrde učešća biće poslane odabranim kandidatima najkasnije do 2. juna/lipnja 2023. godine, uz detaljniji program rada i potrebne logističke informacije.
